Welcome to the 2010 KC364 Crocs Swim Team season! We pride ourselves in offering one of the premier summer swim programs in the Springfield area. We hope you enjoy your summer experience!

Thinking of joining for the first time?
To ensure swimmer safety in the water, swim team requires that you be able to swim 1 length of freestyle and 1 length of backstroke-doesn't need to be perfect or pretty. Not there yet? Check out KC364 swim lessons and KC364 pre-team offerings.
Pre-Team:
Pre-Team is for swimmers ages 5 and up that have already gone through the KC364 swim lesson program, but may not be quite ready yet for swim team. You must be able to swim 1 length of freestyle and float/kick 3C length on your back. Pre-team participates in the Novice and Intersquad meets, but not the Conference meets. Attend Try-It Out days to see if this option is a good fit for you.
We need a minimum of 10 kids and a maximum of 18 kids for this program offering.
Registration:
Due to increasing interest in our swim team program and our need to maintain a safe and quality experience for our swimmers, we recognize that we cannot accept unlimited numbers on the team. Registrations are prioritized in the following order:
2009 KC Aquatic Center Members
Prior Swim Team Members who are not members of the Aquatic Center
New swimmers who are not members of the Aquatic Center
All new non-members will be placed on a waiting list. Once registration is closed (Sunday, May 31) families will be contacted and informed of availability for each age group.
Pool members and previous swim team participants are strongly encouraged to return their swim team registration and payment to the KC Pool Office prior to May 31. While we do not anticipate a problem placing previous swim team members, please note that the only way to guarantee a spot on the team is to be a member of the Aquatic Center.
Mid-State Conference:
There are 8 teams in the conference from Springfield and the surrounding area. We will participate in this conference in the 2009 season.
Team Suits/Equipment:
Team suits, swim caps and fins are recommended but not required.
We hope to have suits and accessories available for sizing at fee day. Order forms will be available on the website soon.
Volunteers:
The success of our program is dependent on the success of our volunteers. Parents will be expected to assist with the set up of meets, the running of meets and may be tapped on throughout the season for various jobs. The following parents have agreed to assist as lead contacts in the following areas:

Registration, Fee Day and Mandatory Parent Meeting will be held Sunday, May 31st at 4:00 p.m in the KC Hall.
- 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Registration (bring completed forms with you).
- 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Mandatory Parent Meeting
- 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Swim Suit Try-on Opportunity
- All fees/orders are non-refundable and are due that day. Fees are $75.00 per swimmer for KC364 2009 pool members; $150.00 per swimmer for Non-KC Aquatic Center Members.
- No orders will be accepted after fee day.
- If you cannot be present at the meeting, your registration forms must be received by the KC Office by May 23, 2009. Registration forms received in the mail after this date cannot be guaranteed.
- Please do not drop off swim team registration at the pool.
